Gold Rush closes 2026 on top
A 97–86 finale in Nashville capped the four-week run and settled the team standings.
Gold Rush finished the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball season the way they spent most of it: in front. The 97–86 win over Glow at Nashville Municipal Auditorium closed the schedule at 4–2 and gave the roster its second straight winning week.
The night followed a familiar script. Gold Rush controlled the opening quarter, traded runs through the middle two, and then closed with the kind of possession-by-possession discipline that the weekly redraft format rewards. Every quarter is its own contest in this league, and Gold Rush banked three of four.
Glow, who had beaten Rhythm 84–72 earlier in the week, could not match the interior work late. Their season ends at 2–4, but the week-to-week draft means those records describe rosters, not careers — several Glow athletes finished the individual race well inside the top ten.
With the league on hiatus for 2027, the 2026 finale doubles as an archive entry. AU Hoops keeps every box score, leaderboard position and roster from the Nashville run available in full.
