Kierstan Bell brought a rebounding edge to Eclipse’s backcourt
Bell’s 6.1 rebounds per game led the guards in the final leaderboard’s top eight, adding another dimension to her 2026 season.
Kierstan Bell’s scoring deserves its place in any look back at Eclipse, but her rebounding offers another way into the story. The Florida Gulf Coast guard averaged 17.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists during the 2026 season at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. She finished seventh on the individual leaderboard with 5,108 AU points. Among the five guards in the final top eight, nobody averaged more rebounds—a useful distinction in a group with plenty of scoring and playmaking.
The comparisons put Bell’s work on the glass in perspective. Rhythm’s Rebekah Gardner averaged 5.8 rebounds, while Gold Rush’s Odyssey Sims collected 4.9. Glow’s Ariel Atkins finished at 4.3, and Rhythm’s Kaitlyn Chen at 3.2. Bell’s advantage over Gardner was only 0.3 rebounds per game, but it still gave her the highest mark in that group. Her scoring average also ranked third among those five guards, behind Sims and Gardner, making rebounding an addition to her offensive production rather than the whole story.
For Eclipse, Bell’s line sat alongside a much bigger rebounding number: Aneesah Morrow’s 10.8 per game. Morrow finished second on the leaderboard with averages of 21.6 points and 2.4 assists, while Bell supplied another top-eight finish for a team that went 4–2. Their numbers offer two distinct perspectives on Eclipse’s season. Morrow’s double-digit rebounding average stands out immediately; Bell’s 6.1 is worth a closer look because of how it compares with the other highly placed guards.
Eclipse’s Week 4 results provide the team backdrop, though they do not tell us how Bell performed in each game. Eclipse lost 98–82 to Gold Rush, beat Glow 92–79 and fell 91–87 to Rhythm. Bell’s season averages offer a different lens from those individual scores. With the league on hiatus for 2027, her final line is a worthwhile off-season reminder: a guard’s contribution can be measured on the glass as well as through points and assists.
