Natasha Mack’s value comes into focus beyond scoring

A closer look at Mack’s 2026 numbers shows how her rebounding stood alongside a fifth-place finish on the AU leaderboard.

With Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball on hiatus for 2027, Natasha Mack’s 2026 season offers a worthwhile look beyond the biggest scoring averages. The Gold Rush forward finished fifth on the final leaderboard with 5,570 AU points, averaging 15.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Her scoring average was seventh among the eight listed athletes, but her leaderboard position was two places higher—a useful reminder to read the whole statistical line.

Rebounding is where Mack’s numbers stand out most clearly. Among those eight athletes, only Aneesah Morrow’s 10.8 rebounds per game and Tina Charles’ 9.6 exceeded her 9.2. That put Mack within four-tenths of a rebound of Charles and comfortably above the next-highest average, Kierstan Bell’s 6.1. Mack did not need to lead this group on the glass for rebounding to be a defining part of her season’s statistical profile.

Her Gold Rush teammate Odyssey Sims supplied a different statistical shape: 24.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, alongside a first-place finish with 6,821 AU points. Mack averaged 4.3 more rebounds, while Sims held the higher scoring and assist averages. Those contrasts give Gold Rush’s two top-five finishers distinct profiles. They also make Mack worth examining on her own terms, rather than simply through the distance between their scoring totals.

Gold Rush finished 4–2 during the 2026 season at Nashville Municipal Auditorium, matching Eclipse’s record. The supplied Week 4 results show Gold Rush wins over Eclipse, Rhythm and Glow, but they do not include individual game lines, so they cannot tell us exactly how Mack contributed to each result. Her season averages provide the clearer view: regular scoring, substantial rebounding and a fifth-place AU finish that deserves its own space in the season look-back.
