Tina Charles put points and boards at the heart of Glow

Charles’ 2026 scoring and rebounding averages offer a useful way to look beyond Glow’s 2–4 record.

Glow’s 2–4 record tells only part of its 2026 story at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tina Charles supplied another important piece: 20.9 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, finishing fourth on the final leaderboard with 5,892 AU points. With the league on hiatus for 2027, the center’s season is worth revisiting on its own terms, rather than letting the team’s record carry the whole account.

The scoring and rebounding combination is the clearest place to start. Among the eight athletes listed on the final leaderboard, only Odyssey Sims and Aneesah Morrow averaged more points than Charles, and only Morrow averaged more rebounds. Charles finished just 0.4 rebounds per game short of a double-double average. Those numbers put her near the front of this group in two major categories, not simply one.

Glow’s Week 4 results show why the team story needs a separate lens. It beat Rhythm 84–72 on Feb. 25, then lost 92–79 to Eclipse on Feb. 26 and 97–86 to Gold Rush on Mar. 1. Those final scores do not reveal Charles’ individual contribution in any of the three games. They do establish a mixed closing stretch alongside a season that still placed her fourth individually.

Charles also offers a useful contrast with fellow Glow guard Ariel Atkins, who finished eighth with 4,987 AU points. Atkins averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists, giving the two different statistical profiles: Charles had the higher scoring and rebounding averages, while Atkins had the higher assist average. For an off-season look back at Glow, that is a more revealing starting point than wins and losses alone.
